Our hearts exposedThe night has come into full bloom, a crescent is reflected against an azure lagoon. Hues of blacks and blues whirl together creating a portrait of us. The stars stretch out like a young boy after a long tedious day. Lethargically we lowered ourselves onto the grass. I felt the wind snap at my cheeks while it fluttered your hair. Turning slowly within your embrace I stared deeply into those emerald orbs. I could feel your grip getting firmer and more secure. Were you afraid that I would be pulled away by the cosmos? The world had grown silent, there was only the sound of waves pelting against the rocks beneath us.Our hearts exposed
